Jackpot finds ...

I have had so much fun at the Barn the last few days. There are days when I'm busy at the hospital and can hardly find an hour to spare to get up to the Barn. And then there are days when I'm at the Barn all day, but I am actually working. I know some of you think owning a shop, like the Barn, would be all fun and glamour, but there is a lot of work involved. The fun part for me is doing the buying and then the vignetting. As my creation grows before my eyes, every small detail has a place and a purpose, at least in my mind there is purpose. The whole thing gives me the greatest joy and is so much fun, especially when a customer comes in and they get it - they really appreciate what they are seeing. Too fun ...

I soooo miss my shop - the buying, the display, the customers who get it! I am now living vicariously through yours. Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely love your shop. I will definately be back. I remember going there with my mother as a little girl and now I am going there for my own interests! You do such a great job, keep up the great work!

Marge and Ashley,
Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving such nice comments. The shop is a handful but I do get such joy out of putting my vignettes together, and then to have others appreciate them, it just warms my heart. Thanks again, L

Fantastic and interesting blog! keep up the good work :)

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
