Open house ~ interior ~ 3

I have to tell you I have had so much fun doing this tour both at home and online. I have received so many nice replies and thank you notes, sent from my guests, that I feel all the work was well worth it. Next time, I think I will advertise to the general public, instead of sending the invitations exclusively to my email list. Oh Boy. Did I say next time?

The table was very fun to set for dinner. Burlap, old burlap coffee bean sack and some very large fern leaves set the stage...
Of course, I needed to bring in some terra cotta....love

As you can see the back of my place is all one big open room... from kitchen to dining and on and on.

my kitchen cupboards, in the back ground, are always a big hit. The bottom I painted brown with black stain and antiquing. The top are highly distressed white. All of the knobs are slightly different throughout.

Container from Jeanne d' Arc Living, Denmark.

I love this center island... just the right size for my space

Chandelier over the sink... too fun.
I had a ton more pictures to post, but I thought this sample gives everyone the generalized idea of my space, and what my guests experienced on the open house. Last but not least is the back yard. Stay tuned.

Lori,
Wish I could have been there. Everthing looks fabulous!! I can appreciate the energy it took to pull it off! Well done. Can't wait to see the back yard shots!
Peace,

Ki,
You are too sweet. Thanks so much for stopping by. I have to get the back yard posted because I am way bored with photos of my place... boring! :0)
Hugs, Lori

I love your blog! It's very inspiring! I really like what you did behind your kitchen stove (tin tiles, old basket). I'm currently searching for something unique to place behind my stove too.
Thanks for sharing!

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
