open house ~ interior ~ part two

The living room, gathering room, television room, sleeping room... the what-ever-room. Comfy cozy. Small but functional and lots of room for vignetting. My husband just shakes his head. As long as the Ottoman is available 24/7 he's actually okay. I love the vintage lamp shades in the above picture. I had silverware hanging from one last Christmas.

All of my books came from a salvation army in the area. I look for copyrights from the early 1900's or older. Some I removed the covers and then soak them in water to plump them and give them even more character.

the well worn couch

the best pillow in town... Jeanne d' Arc Living.... right from Denmark

Bird bath end table with my beautiful jar. I can't wait to show you this in the fall and at Christmas time.

My collections, to name a few, are from Minnesota, Kansas, South Carolina, Iowa and now I can add France and Denmark to my list.

now you know that I have just as many angels in my house as I do in my yard

kitchen and dining will be included in part 3
I can't believe that while I'm posting these pictures, the month of July is starting, I'm thinking daily about pumpkins and I'm unpacking Christmas at the store. The crazy life of retail.

Sweet Lou Cinda,
That is what I will call you from now on. I wish Alabama wasn't so far away.

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
