Number envy

A friend stopped by the Barn the other day, and while admiring my numbered pots, I heard her say, "what is it about numbers.... you put a number on a rusty pot and I am instantly in love with it." Isn't that the truth! Put a number on just about anything and I am envious.
I covet it. I want it for my own collection.
I think that is why I am so drawn to clocks....the simplicity of the numbers.

also just in... telescoping ~ tarnished silver ~ display pieces, and wooden lanterns with fun metal tops

i love this picture

The book title says it all.
What we are all after... a few simple pieces to make our simple home a little bit more ours, a little bit more personal....love it.
the sun is shining and I am off to play at my Barn....L

Wish I could play at your barn too! Everything is so lovely - I adore the numbered pots! You have such a way with displaying everything-it makes me want to start all over in my home with my pretty things. :)

Sorry, I just don't get the 'number' thing. To each his own and that is what makes the world go round, but this is one fad that does not garner my attention. But, like I just said, it takes all kinds and we all have different opinions on same things. People say this same thing to me regarding my love for old wooden boxes and barrels...they just don't get that I could possibly be drawn to them but I am. Have a great day!

i LOVE numbers too! I just made a coat rack with license plate numbers!

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
