Tour day - AM

Good morning. I have been up with my list for some time. The holiday home tour is today.... Eek. I love preparing and I love having everyone come through, BUT I love it best when it is over. This morning, however, I am still in my jammy's drinking coffee and working my list. This post is not on the list, but it seems like forever since I was on the computer... in the morning... with my coffee. My favorite time!!

You have all seen my coffee counter... but not with a touch of winter decor. It is one area that I must leave functional. No extra clutter. Just a touch of Christmas collection. A sparkle. A hint of green. That is why I thought I could get away with a post this morning...it is quick and short... or so I told myself when I started editing...

A hint of sparkle. A simple message.

A hint of Christmas collection.

Something that must be packed up every year because of the joy they give when they are unpacked every year.

my 3 little Charlotte's

I do love them so ...

______

I hate to be the blogger that talks about the weather but good God does it have to snow or rain every time I do a home tour.... all of the outdoor vignettes are buried in snow. It started yesterday about 1:30 pm and came down for hours and hours.

So, that is second on the list... remove as much snow from the decorated areas as possible, and then head to the store for some cheap mats / rugs and some ice melt.

First more coffee... then hit the shower

Cheers, Lori

Understand your frustration with the snow "ruining" our outdoor displays. I just came in from shoveling and "dusting" my display.

Love your coffee corner - sorry about the snow but it sure makes everything look Christmas-y!

Love the snow, love the house!

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
