heirloom vintage

I have been telling you for about 2 - 3 months now that I am revamping my jewelry area.... the boutique within the Barn.... my Vogue space.   Well I"m at it again... phase 3. Or maybe it's phase 4.  As the months pass I have lost track. I know my goal was to have it done before I left for Atlanta on my buying trip... geez.... that was January.

May is also a good time for a goal... so on Sunday, when it was Freezing cold here, and it was a slow afternoon, I got started.  In order to move a large piece of furniture from one side of the Barn to the other.... my couch needed to move.... it usually means tearing down and moving 2 - 3 vignetted areas, which means at least a couple of hours of work.

I moved and tore apart two areas, and then cleaned out the vignette were the couch was housed... called Mr. Miller....moving man.... and we repositioned the couch on the other side of the Barn AND then tried to put the original 2 areas back in order.... all new and refreshed.
  ALL TOO FUN!!!
It's what we all love to do.... I'm lucky because I have a whole Barn full of toys to play with..... enjoy.

you can see how I needed Mr Miller... moving man... to help get her across the shop.  She's not super heavy, but way over sized.

I still am lovin' this green.
I found a sweater this color at J Crew.... heaven.

This clutch... too die for!

love the couch....

Love that green, too! A SWEATER TO MATCH? I could wear it when I'm looking at MY pear! haaaa

Lovely displays and your moving man did a great job!

Hey, it's NOT freezing here right now. The sun's out, it's 50 but the wind is honkin'. Supposed to be in the 70's this weekend! Can't have it all, I guess.

Wishing you warm gentle breezes!

what company do the large butterfly collages come from? I have been admiring them for months on your blog. I was hoping to find them somewhere here in MI.

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
