paper and linen - the buffet

Is it March ?

A few years ago, I was planning my spring open house, which consisted of planning the window boxes. What kind of bright, spring-y items could we fill the window boxes with...
  UGH.
Not only can I not see the window boxes.... I can not get close to them due to the snow drifts !!!
Did I already say Ugh !
Another bad thing... the window boxes are starting to show signs from last year's Christmas... Good God. But again, the drifts are so deep I can't get to them to clean things up.
If you come to the Barn... don't look at the outside.
Just know that a warm - spring awaits you indoors !!

This beautiful Buffet... painted by my friend, Linda

I really think it looks perfect with my Barn doors in the back ground.

We had our first Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint workshop at the Barn last Wednesday.  It really was a hoot.  Our six attendee's (silly me - no pictures) left with a lot of knowledge, a ton of confidence and a complimentary paint sample.

The buffet can stay and visit for a while, just until someone comes along who has the perfect spot for it!

Lovely, lovely, and might I add, lovely! You have such a talent for finding wonderful goodies and displaying them!

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
