Be Mine...

The day for Love is finally here. I love to put together little gift bags for the boys and the husband every year. In fact, I recycle the same gift bag and card that I purchased when my kids were little....lets see, I think my bags are now 15 years old and they have a nice little patina on them. It's what goes inside right? Or is it the thought that counts? Either way, my family looks forward to their little goody bag every year...fun times. -do you think they have noticed the bags are the same?

I still have a few goodies at the store if anyone needs last minute Love items. Sorry, the sour gummy lips have sold out!

Bloom... or not to bloom.

Hi, good morning, It's me again. I have been playing around with bulbs for the past couple of weeks... for the store. Always for the store. My baby. Today, however, I took a good look around the house and decided I needed to keep some of these beautiful blooms

for my own self.

I have what you might call Bulb infatuation.... I love the sprout, the bulb and especially the roots....Love the roots.

silver (tarnished of course), pearls and greens .....

this little guy is the sweetest thing ..... he is actually a little bud vase.... I stuffed a twig inside and left it at that.... but think of the possibilities for him..... he'll steal the show every time.

The change of seasons is why we live here. It allows a whole new out look on life and gives us a new reason to change the decor. It puts a smile on my face and lights my heart every time I do a new vignette...... I guess it is who I am and what I do.

Love is in the air ...

Love is in the air .... the love of flowers. They are blooming. My beautiful little pots that I brought in last week are opening up. The first round of pots went pretty quickly so I whipped up round two.... and they are loving the Barn. Yellows and whites and purples and oh so much green. I can't get enough of them.

Here is a peak at some of my latest finds. Fun tote bags made of burlap and linens with hip designs that you will not be able to pass up. My problem is I wanted one of each .... how to pick just one?

My garden bench was Christmas red this morning. It didn't really go with my spring French garden market theme .... a fresh coat of paint was all it needed ..... now it fits right in.
