Another Friday has rolled around. 

I hope everyone has big plans for the weekend.

The Barn has settled in with all the Fall product out, so I can sit back and relax a bit... maybe a day or two until something big sells and the whole area goes to shambles. 

But that's a good thing ...right.

I get a call every August from Al R. 

He is so sweet, he harvests the bittersweet and delivers it right to the Barn !!

Tasty treats

Last week I had a couple of mornings off.

It is so nice to get up and lounge on the computer and out at the pool with the sun just coming up. I grab my coffee, my books and my morning snack (first breakfast).  Earlier,  Mr. Miller had picked up a store bought apple pie, which wasn't bad, but I remembered I had brought home my maple pumpkin butter. I put a dab on top of the pie AND it was so GOOD.  Normally I like it on toast with peanut butter... DeLish! (second breakfast).

It is like Apple butter ... yum.

the scone mix is also Fabulous...

It's time to do some baking

"we want some, we want some, we want some ...."

Also just in ...

you can eat it right out of the jar... but it is best warmed up slightly on ice cream or brownies or pancakes....

more Fall inspiration

Hello.

It has finally cooled off here.

Up here, in Minnesota, we love summer but not necessarily the heat and humidity.  Don't get me wrong, a few hot days are expected and coveted, but a long stretch of near 100 with super high humidity is NO GOOD.

And working in a Hot ole' Barn day after day is enough to send anyone into the nut house.  The heat also cuts back on my visitors...paying customers that is....and momma gets crabby when there are no paying customers in the house.

So finally.... the heat has broke and I can work AND we have loads of happy customers !!!

Welcome fall.
