Crooked. Bent. Dusty. Love.
I am sure as I continue to post you are feeling my love for the vintage dress form. I now am the proud owner of 6 lovely ladies. Oh yeah. Six. This princess, well maybe I should refer to her as the Queen because she is surely the oldest. The Queen, I found at Curious Sofa. Yes, Curious Sofa, Debbie Dusenberry's Curious Sofa. So I traveled a distance to find her. It was love at first sight... crooked, rusty and dusty...love at first sight.
Picture frames, corbels, garden statuary and an old trunk from the 20's, who could ask for anything more.

I was smiling all the way back from KS.
The "Queen" looks so much better now that she has had an opportunity to recover from her road trip... I see other "road trip" treasures and they look great. I can't wait to see whats coming, the anticipation is too much!
Talk with you soon!

Would you happen to have a form to sell? See my despair in my endless search for a form on my blog...

I'm also looking for a dress form. Have been looking for one for a while. I ADORE the "queen" and I'm adding her to my post about the love of vintage dress forms that I can't seem to find.
"The Queen" is perfect! I love her rust and her stance with her hip flared out, LOL. I would love to find something like her for my shop. Come visit me and you'll see that I love rust, vintage, aged, distressed, etc.
Thanks for a great post. I'll be back for a visit.
