Mid-July

Summer - time.

Mid - July .... how can it be.

It's just beyond me how time can click by SO fast.

We are having the perfect week here at the barn.

It is no longer 100+ degrees inside the Barn, which means we don't have to stand in one spot next to a fan....we can actually get something done.  It also means, our guests, are not dripping with sweat as they round the corner with their goods.

We are all smiling ....lovin' this week.

Eek. Cute. The marching chickens...

Alright, gotta run.

Big event coming up....can't spill the beans yet.... soon.

vintage living

I've been showing posts lately with a focus on - Miller House.

This week we will be back at the Barn for some funky vintage living.

It's funny how fast things move at the Barn, change happens daily. Just yesterday I was walking around and I have about 7 new vignettes to show.... I am always behind showing off my goods.

love this little guy...

Thanks for stopping.

With the 4th Holiday this week we are shortening our hours at the Barn.

Too Hot went to the Lake.

We will close at 4pm everyday this week

closed Wednesday, July 4

Hot!

Yesterday was so hot.

I could hardly function getting out of the Barn last evening....HOT.  It stayed cool within the Barn all day but by 3 pm it was starting to cook.... by 5 pm .... look out, I needed to leave.

You know what happens next.... you have to walk out into the hot parking lot, and get into a very HOT car.... my drive home isn't really long enough for the air to cool entirely.... so the first thing I did when I walked into the house was take the jewels OFF.

I could not get them off fast enough.

I didn't even go upstairs to put them away.... just layed them on the counter in the kitchen.

Funny thing though.... later when I walked by, I noticed I liked the way I layed them out.... a little display of ART.  I instantly grabbed my camera so I could share with you.

Maybe it's the eye of the beholder but I got off on these pictures.... Love.

I hope you enjoyed.
