folks love a good sale...

It is crazy to think how much can sell in as little as 12 days.

I have been told, "folks love a GOOD sale."
I would have to agree !
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in June we opened the doors at the Barn. The first week the sales were the best, but we were never slow. The first day, one customer was there from 9:30, when we opened the door, until 2 pm. She continued to bring things up to the register, to be placed in her pile, until she was ready to check out. Approximately, 35 minutes after she left, she returned because she did not want to leave behind the items she had decided against the first time. Many customers left and came back later that same day when the line had died down. Many, Many, Many of you came back to shop every week.

Bless your hearts.
The third week of June, I could tell that the 50% discount wasn't quite enough draw any more, so I upped it to 65% off and we resumed the frenzy.
Again...."folks love a good sale."

I thought I would share a few before and after shots....

One of the vignettes in the front entryway....

same spot after the 12 days...

I loved this display door...it sold, along with just about everything on and around it.

I did move a few random items up front...

a few odd ball randoms...

When I look back at these photos it is hard to believe the many layers of product that I had EVERYWHERE. I mean everywhere. From the ceiling on down to the floor...buckets and buckets and layers and layers....
I did like to keep it full and put on a show...

Wow !!

I tried to keep things neat and picked up each day...

Full...

Empty...

My beloved Barn Doors...one of the first to go...

My candy is long gone, but I do still have the Vintage Candy Rack.
Priceless.

I loved my little apothecary room...books and skulls and what-nots...

Crazy !
"they...love a good sale."

Boy oh Boy!!
As you can see, not everything sold, but we moved a ton of product through the doors in 12 days.

Our next adventure should be interesting.
I have gathered a few Vendors who all have a marvelous stash waiting to come to the Barn.  The prices will be fair. Priced to move. In addition to all the fabulous Vintage goodies that are going to be available, I will also have some Barn goods marked down....
It will be a quick 4 day event that you will not want to miss.

It will be worth a road trip for sure.

Oh my, the before and after images were impressive! I would love to clear out my own showrooms in such a way so that I could start with a blank canvas again. I agree, folks DO Love a good Sale! Blessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
