Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh.

Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.  Or maybe it's just time to do a deep clean, and when it's time to put everything back you decide to do it all different.

that's kind of how my brain works.

You start with a theme...
you gather...
and then you layer...

For this vignette, I wanted white stoneware to be the star of the show, but when I finished, I think the glass crystals hanging from the vintage candelabra stole the show.

talk about dramatic!

... they just look so good with the mix of metals and the primitive pottery.

I also love the mix of greens with the white stoneware.

This is my Rickity vintage pantry cupboard in my kitchen.
It is the perfect height to do a fun seasonal vignette.

I started with this black mirror.

and then layered some metals.

then the candelabra.

I love the addition of the candelabra.  I had to give myself a little pat on the back when I decided to grab it and include it. Styling is sooooo fun!!

The candelabra was perfect, especially when I realized the cord could reach a nearby outlet.

Ohhh so fun when it was getting dark, and I could light it up.

I haven't done a blog post - FOREVER!

I am hoping I can continue to keep blogging.  When I started the blog, it was to advertise for my brick-and-mortar shop, by showing my product in clever vignettes I increased sales from coast-to-coast. Once my shop closed, I didn't think I would have enough material to talk about and to inspire with and didn't really have things to sell anymore.

After a while, I picked up Instagram just for a creative outlet.
One little picture was very easy to style and show off with.

Just recently I decided I have so much stuff at my house, and I restyle so often, that I'm going to give this blog a go again!!  It is not always about sales...

Hopefully, I can inspire and show a little creativity AND you will come back and enjoy.
