Festive Finds

It's that time....last minute gifts. We're all in the same boat. Searching for that perfect gift, for our perfect friend or family member...who has everything and needs nothing. Oh, what to do. Here at the Barn we have unique vintage finds for the junker on your list, the entertainer, the homebody, even the trendsetter. These newly received vintage door knobs are flying out the door....some are from Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and of course Minnesota. They are all unique in their own way...no two are alike.

Where are all the Elves

The store is decorated... my house is decorated.... why do I still feel so far behind schedule. Why, at this time of year is the list so long? Why is MOM Santa Claus? And if so....where are my elves....there are gifts to buy, gifts to wrap, cookies to make - well in my case to buy, cards to address, parties to attend, parties to host....yikes, I need more then elves I need the reindeer too!
Love this vintage wagon...the wheels have the original rubber. Wouldn't it look great filled with fresh greens on the porch?

Believe....and they will come. All is well here at the Barn. I have new guests arriving daily with a look of wonder on their faces - It warms my heart. Most are not buying large quantities; however, they find something that is perfect for themselves or for that perfect gift. Almost all claim on their way out "I'll be back" and "I've got to tell my girlfriends". All is well here at the Barn.

Isn't Life Grand..... as they say, "it's good to know people in high places"

I'm talking about my new BFF, Kim Yeager, Coordinator - Home and Garden - StarTribune. Round Barn Potting Co. has been mentioned in the Home and Garden section in the past; however, two weeks in a row..... oh, how I have been blessed.

These specialty canvases were showcased two weeks ago. My friend, Sue Wolfe, showcases her talents here at the Barn. The Destination Art comes on metal or canvas, featuring Mpls and St Paul. She also does smaller works of art on aged metal that has a winter theme with birch trees, snow flakes and shiny adornments....they move fast.... I try to get a shipment of pics on Saturday am.... so if your shopping for Sue Wolfe originals that's the best day to come in...... we're usually sold out by Tue.

Week two... Wednesday, Dec. 03. These beautiful creatures were featured in the Trib..... the phones were ringing off the hook. We were sold out by Thursday afternoon. As I have said - I have been blessed.
