Spring Sunshine

The spring pots have started to arrive and OMG do I want to play in the dirt.

At first, I was in love with the grey, then I saw the yellow, and THEN I saw the green. ME - Oh - My!
They are perfect

mix them all with some metal, some burlap, some succulents
and we have got something going ON!

I did the crabby babies last summer also, but they are so cute I had to bring them back.

are you speechless....

Too Funny

Isn't the rusty metal planter too die for

What about this piece of fence - all intact with chippy paint. LOVe!
...and the hook with the pointing finger...

I can't tell you enough how fun it is to have my job.
Sometimes owning the store, as a whole, can be a little stressful, but doing this is
way cool.

just sent out the email this morning for the Spring Fever open house and Sale.
I even attached a "green bucks back" coupon... my first one...how fun. I can't wait to see if there is a response.

Green and White

I am in Love with green and white. I can not get enough.
I was at Market in town yesterday and the only thing that caught my eye was Green, white and metal. Any thing metal... or gray. I just want it all.

I cleaned up my vintage cupboard the other day and look what happened to fall inside.
Greens. Whites. And a mix of Metals.

I am planting my seeds.... isn't this wall fun. The chalk board wall has become another one of my favorites at the store. Wash it down and wa - la new inspiration.

love the metal rusty basket inside the shelf

look at the cute feather on top of his little head.

today's Easter bunny ??

yummy!!

I bet you are all wishing you had a Large white metal colander of your own!
Sorry about the long interruption since my last post. I normally try to do 3 posts a week, but these last 2 weeks have been hell with my schedule at the hospital, trying to get to Market and trying to put time in at the store. I have hardly had time to think - it took me 6 days to get time to go to target for essentials... yikes.. Anyway, I do have new vignettes done with the photos sitting in my camera. I just need to edit and post so stay tuned.

Succulent Love

I Love Succulents.

They are everywhere at the barn and at my home. These lovelies happen to be fake...Fake... FAKE. There, I said it, they are not real but they are gorgeous. You can throw them anywhere for a splash of instant color. Instant spring. They give me a little smile every time I see there little faces.

We have had 4 sunny days reaching almost 40 degrees.

Kind of puts you in a planting mood.
Even if it's done indoors.

I can't get enough burlap and texture these days. I'm not into a lot of color right now but I am into a lot of texture.... look at these baskets.

Another shipment of french Siphon bottles have arrived.

Layer it on. Change it up.

Time for a refresh. Have you ever looked at an area in your house and thought I am done looking at that mess.   Or maybe it's just time...
