At the end of summer, I decided the Vogue boutique was in need of a make over.
I have a fabulous collection of dress forms....The Ladies...
which show very well in the new boutique
3 of my favorites...although, 5 more wait around the corner....

26 days until the Christmas Premiere....
that means 13 days to tear down and 13 days to create.
It usually takes me a day (the few hours that I am at the barn in that day) to completely wipe out a display....finding a new home for all the goods. Then I start at the ceiling and do the background props before bringing out product for that particular vignette....another day or two.
I have 14 separate Christmas areas...displays... big - honken' rooms... including outside... ALL the window boxes and front urns...
I better get started. I think I am going to have to work in a few nights too...
Curious onlookers come often, once or twice a week and pick their goods first... others, wait until the week before and then there are those that come the Friday before trying to beat the crowds. Most wait for the premiere Saturday and take it all in.... It's a good thing!
