Last week I thought the cool Autumn weather was here to stay, but we have been experiencing the best Indian summer, as they say in these parts, EVER!!

warm. dry. nice breeze. leaves changing and falling.

Normally we are sweaters and scarves by now ... sometimes we are even wearing the snow boots... but I've seen a re-surge of shorts and flip flops.

I promised pictures of Autumn and much more... this area is going to be our Fall - Thanksgiving room. As I tear the store apart and revamp for Christmas this area will remain into November.

Have you heard the news!

Some of you may remember the book JUL, if you do you'll no doubt remember it was impossible to get your hands on a copy here in the US, and it was accompanied by a hefty price tag. The good folks at Jeanne d' Arc living have come up with the brilliant idea to reprint the book in the same style as their wonderful magazine. This means we are able to enjoy it and as a soft cover, the price is drastically reduced !

Always a good thing!! In addition, the reprint is in English.

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the original hard cover JUL before JdArc stopped shipping product to the US. I Love it! My customers who purchased it also continue to rave BUT we can't wait to see it reprinted in English.

I have been having trouble with my blogger account so I have not been able to load any pictures. Evidently, when you reach a certain limit with your photo storage you have to purchase extra storage room from google Picasa...yikes, whatever.

AND then it takes up to 24 hours to update your account, Whatever.

I'm going to have to put in some serious computer time... if I can find time away from the backyard. In Minnesota, you only have so many days in the fall to get the outside ready for winter. If you plan right and you get a little luck you get everything done
