It finally stopped snowing.

I think we got between 10"-12" total.

I'm so excited about my new find...

I recently bought this funky vintage door with the shelves pre-mounted

...wha-la

instant display...Love it.

I put it right inside the front door so you see everything as soon as you enter the Barn

Right now I am short on display pieces of any kind... furniture is at a premium at the Barn.

It is so nice to have 4 large shelves to work with.  

 I could go out and find some fun furniture but I am without a truck to haul anything at the moment... if you know anyone who delivers.... call me up.

I love having my outdoor bird bath inside.

This one is super heavy and hard for me to move around but somehow I get it moved into the right vignette.

Outside it is snowing... again.

And they say it is supposed to continue for another 24 hours.

Is it ever going to end.

Morning... again.

The days just click by don't they.

You all know by now that I have "a day job" besides the Barn.

Even tho. I have "the day job" I still get to the Barn on a daily basis.  I try to re-do a section of the shop at least 3 days a week.  

... I don't know what happens the rest of the time... I think I talk to much on those days....and plan... I do a lot of planning. 

This is my latest creation... I do love the yellow.

It makes me smile especially when it is so...so...so damn dreary outside.

It took me all day last Sunday to move furniture, set up this door display and haul product.  

For a while I was shedding layers....sweating ...

but in the end... 

well worth the effort.

dreaming of Spring

Good morning.

I normally show one vignette at a time when I do a post.

Today, however, I am just flitting through the Barn, showcasing the vignettes I have put together in the last couple of weeks.

bunnies and flowers and loads of color...

I love all the bright colors this year.

.... especially yellow.

A few weeks ago I was all about pink... before that it was blue...

this week I am all about the yellow!!

I had a new customer stop yesterday...

oh my, the excitement coming from her was so infectious.

She was so excited to have found the Barn.

  As she went around the shop gathering and gasping at every new vignette she came to, it made my heart sing.  It is so fun when a guest really gets what I am trying to do at the Barn.  When someone can see the whole vision of my madness.  

So fun....it's even more fun when you hear she drove hours to get to the Barn AND she was already planning her next drive up when she was heading out the door...

nobody said this job was easy

But it is SO WORTH it when everything comes together.

I can't wait to show you more of this product line

I about peed my pants when I first found it...
